Brief: Design a book with hundrends of pages of text that needs to be edited, along with tables, case studies, diagrams, quotes, and photos all about UFOs. Content based on The Condon Report / The Colorado Project: A Study of Unidentified Flying Objects; a study done by University of Colorado and Edward Condon in 1968 surrounding UFO sightings.

Background: I chose off-white paper stock for the body text because is it a large coffee table style 500+ page book with a lot of text. 

I chose green for all of the diagrams to give the reader a break in between all of the off-white pages to keep them interested. Green being the most common color to come to mind when thinking about extraterrestrial experiences.

Solution: Throughout the book I kept the theme consistent. Monospaced type for a more databased feel, black chapter pages so the reader can easily determine where the chapters start and end, and large photographs for intended interruptions throughout the book. 

The 24”x36” diagram poster at the bottom of the page is an asset to the book that includes all of the diagrams inside of the book.
